Sound of silence

Grace in sitting in silence

In reflection 

Peace in knowing my the power of my voice

While equally admiring the power of my silence 

Recognizing that my silence speaks

My silence has a sound 

And there is power in its sound and its absence 

Knowing we don’t always speak truth to power 

Sometimes our absence 

Our silence speaks to power very loudly
