feminist, poet, teacher and survivor of human trafficking

Who am I?

This is a question, I am constantly exploring but feminist, poet, teacher and survivor encompass most of what I am called and call myself at this time.

I have worked in the development sector for more than ten years, mainly doing protection work for vulnerable groups and in the past few years focusing specifically on human trafficking. Some may call me an expert on the subject but I am passionate and constantly learning. I believe that human trafficking is a cause that chose me.

What am I doing here?

Reading, writing and sharing. I have always loved to read, always been able to find words that have spoken to me in each moment and I hope that this place becomes a place that you find words that speak to you. I also hope that this becomes another place that I find words from you that teach me and change me.
